Registration

ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS

Parent/guardian must provide the following required documentation for ALL new enrolling students:

  • Student’s birth certificate
  • Student’s Social Security card
  • Student’s current, up-to-date immunization record
  • Proof of residency in Brownwood ISD; must be a utility bill, or rental/mortgage agreement
  • Enrolling parent/guardian’s driver’s license
  • SECONDARY STUDENTS (8-12th): for scheduling purposes please provide the following:
    • Copy of updated transcript
    • Copy of services provided


QUALIFY FOR PRE-K 

 

Children who will be 3 or 4 years old on September 1, 2026 must apply for Pre-K by attending a pre-registration event at the Brownwood ISD Central Support Center. Click here for more information on Pre-K Registration.  Be prepared to provide the following documentation in order to qualify for Pre-K:

  • Proof of income for the previous month, including one of the following for all wage earners in the household: pay stubs, W-2, Child Support, 2025 income tax return
  • Current EDG letter verifying SNAP benefits for the child
  • Foster form 2085 for a student who is or has ever been in the care of DFPS
  • Eligibility letter for Medicaid or CHIPS
