Registration

ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS

Parent/guardian must provide the following required documentation for ALL new enrolling students:

  • Student’s birth certificate
  • Student’s Social Security card
  • Student’s current, up-to-date immunization record
  • Proof of residency in Brownwood ISD; must be a utility bill, or rental/mortgage agreement
  • Enrolling parent/guardian’s driver’s license


QUALIFY FOR PRE-K

Children who will be 3 or 4 years old on September 1, 2025 must apply for Pre-K by attending a pre-registration event at the Brownwood ISD Central Support Center.  Click here for more information on Pre-K Registration.  Be prepared to provide the following documentation in order to qualify for Pre-K:

  • Proof of income for the previous month, including one of the following for all wage earners in the household: pay stubs, W-2, Child Support, 2024 income tax return
  • Current EDG letter verifying SNAP benefits for the child
  • Foster form 2085 for a student who is or has ever been in the care of DFPS
  • Eligibility letter for Medicaid or CHIPS

All Eligible Families Must Register through
the ParentPortal to be enrolled
August 4 - 11, 2025 online online

Please visit your child's campus to obtain your portal id if you do not see your student in your ParentPortal account.
 
COMPLETE REGISTRATION FOR THE UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR

ALL students must complete the required Registration forms each year. Returning Student Registration opens in August of the upcoming school year.

From the Summary page in ParentPortal, click Registration.

Click Start Registration.

Complete all forms. There are several types of forms:

VIEW ONLY:
Click Next Form to confirm that you viewed the form.

DOWNLOAD:
Click Download Attached Document.

REVIEW AND UPDATE:
Add or change data as needed.

CONTACTS:
Click Add User to add a new contact.

Click Next Form until you have reviewed and updated all forms.

Once finished, click Finish and Submit to District.

Print the confirmation for your records
