Brownwood ISD is comprised of 6 campuses (PK through 12th),and offers a world-class education with a hometown feel. Campuses include, Northwest Elementary (PK-5th), East Elementary (PK-5th), Woodland Heights Elementary (PK-5th), Coggin Elementary School (PK-6th), Brownwood Middle School (7th-8th), and Brownwood High School (9th-12th).

From behind-the-scenes support staff to award-winning teachers, counselors, and administrators, Brownwood ISD is filled with professional staff who are at the top in their fields. The commitment to our future leaders does not stop at the district door. Strong community support for our students and teachers continues to build each year through the Brownwood Education Foundation which provides teaching grants, scholarship opportunities, and more. Our parents and guardians, business owners, local government leaders, and members of the community are all working together to make Brownwood, and its schools, the best in the nation.

In addition to the regular school year, the district offers an exciting summer learning experience for Brownwood PK-5th grade students. Camp Adventure: Roar on the Shore features fun enrichment activities, along with opportunities to dig deeper into academic subjects and field trips designed to give children a summer to remember.

Brownwood ISD offers students experience with the latest technology and educational opportunities from primary grades through high school where a growing variety of pathways, dual credit courses, and industry certifications make Brownwood ISD the District of Choice.
