Brownwood ISD Food Service Announces Free Lunches for Students Starting in October
Brownwood ISD (BISD) Food Service has announced that beginning October 1, 2020, all Brownwood ISD students will be able to eat lunch FREE. Made possible through funding provided by the USDA and the program which helped provide free meals earlier during the COVID-19 pandemic, the benefit has now been extended to continue helping families and students within the district.
BISD students will be able to eat lunch FREE at their school through December 31, or until the state funding runs out.
For any questions regarding FREE lunches or school nutrition, contact Brownwood ISD Food Service at 325.643.5644 (ext. 1130).
