BHS Theatre Announces Upcoming Production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream
BHS Theater is performing William Shakespear's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Performance dates are October 17, 18, and 21 at 7:00 p.m. and a Sunday matinee on October 20 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
A Midsummer Nights Dream is William Shakespeare's MOST produced comedy. It is a fantastic frolic through a Midsummer wood with Oberon and Titania the king and queen of the fairies and their hordes. The four lovers Hermia, Lysander, Helena and Demetrius have eloped to the woods to escape the Athenian law and upon meeting the Mischievous Puck fall into a hilarious case of mistaken identity. Throw into this mix a group of actors meeting in the woods to practice a play for the Dukes upcoming wedding and you have an evening of side splitting fun that is sure to please audiences of all ages.
The show will run about an hour and 45 minutes with a 10 minute intermission. The BHS production of A Midsummer Night's Dream boasts a completely student designed and built event you won't want to miss!
