Brownwood High School Announces the 2022 Homecoming Court

Brownwood High School (BHS) has announced the 2022 Homecoming Court. Queen nominees include Chloe Adamez, Lilly Brasher, Bailey Burkett, Jensyn Evans, and Kennedi Johnson. King nominees are Luke Gray, Owen Huntsinger, Navy Hutchinson, Peter Le, and Antwuan Valencia. Princesses and Princes include freshman Deja Martin and Eric Smith, sophomores Sidney Windham and Easton Judkins, and juniors Adryanna Huerta and Ike Hall.


The Queen and King will be crowned at 6:30 p.m. before the 2022 Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 7 as the Lions host Big Spring in the District 2-3A Division I opener.




Chloe Adamez Chloe Adamez is the daughter of Stephanie and Jeremy Adamez. She is a member of the Nation Honor Society (NHS) and HOSA (Future Health Professionals), and played volleyball (2 years), and participated in track (3 years). Adamez is an active member at Church (BCC), and is pursuing her Pharmacy Tech license. She volunteers at Good Samaritan and the Salvation Army and plans to attend Texas State University to study Nursing or Marketing.
Lilly Brasher Lilly Brasher is the daughter of Tim and Michelle Brasher. She has participated in basketball (3 years), track (2 years), and FFA competition teams (1 year). Awards earned include NHS, Junior usher at graduation, and Most Friendly Award. She plans to attend Texas A&M University to study Education.
Bailey Burkett Bailey Burkett is the daughter of Donnie and Tyra Burkett. Her accomplishments include serving as Senior Class President for Student Council, Co-Vice President for Key Club, NHS member, band officer, and American Sign Language (ASL) Honor Society member. She has participated in Band, Jazz Band, and Theatre. Burkett also participates in mission work with Austin Avenue Church of Christ. She plans to study Forensic Psychology.
Jensyn Evans Jensyn Evans is the daughter of Branon and Amber Evans. She is a NHS member and made the All American Dance Team and will be performing at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Evans has been a member of the Lionette Drill Team for four years and is currently the captain. She has also been active in FFA (9 years) and currently holds the office of Secretary. She is currently running for Brown County Youth Fair Queen. She participates in Toys for Kids and Two Steppen for Kids. Evans plans to to attend Tarleton State University to study Kinesiology.
Kennedi Johnson Kennedi Johnson is the daughter of J.D. and Sara Johnson. She participated in varsity soccer (4 years) and was selected Offensive MVP for two years. She was also the leading goal scorer for two years in district. She is involved in NHS, HOSA, and is pursuing her CNA license. Johnson also volunteers at Good Samaritan Ministries, helos with Toy for Tots and is involved in coaching youth soccer camp. She plans to attend Howard Payne University to continue her soccer career and study Nursing.


Luke Gray Luke Gray is the son of Shauna and Jason Gray. Awards include FCA Athlete of the Month, Cross Country medalist, and Sophomore Student of the Month. He participates in cross country, basketball, track, and golf. Gray’s community accomplishments include praise and worship guitarist, middle school matchup baseball coach, bible study leader, Church at the Square volunteer, Coggin Elementary 6th grade basketball coach, and member of Coggin Avenue Baptist Church and youth group. He plans on attending Texas A&M University to study Business.
Owen Huntsinger Owen Huntsinger is the son of Josh and Tammy McCullough, and Brian & Bridgette Huntsinger. He works hard to maintain excellent grades, excel in high school sports, and stay active in his youth group at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church. He is focusing on his last year of high school baseball as well as his health science curriculum to finish with his Pharmacy Tech certification. He has participated in volunteer work in programs at Church and Good Samaritan Ministries. Huntsinger plans to attend Texas A&M university to study Biology or Biomedical Science and one day attend medical school to become an Orthopedic Surgeon.
Hutchinson Navy Hutchinson is the son of Melanie and Che Hutchinson. He is an active member of the FFA and Spanish Club and earned an award for accomplishments in science. Hutchinson also spends time at the ag barns helping people with various shaving techniques. He plans to attend Texas State University to study Agriculture.
Peter Le Peter Le is the son of Nicole Le and bother to Davis Le. He is an NHS member and served as a Junior Usher at graduation. Le has participated in high school tennis (4 years), and is a member of the varsity team. He also participates in coaching for youth tennis camp. Le plans to attend Texas A&M University to study Business.
Antwuan Valencia Antwuan Valencia is the son of Yolanda Valencia and brother to Adrian Ordaz. Valencia states his greatest high school accomplishment would be winning this [Homecoming King]. He has participated in areas that include audio/visual, graphic design, art, and football. Valencia’s community involvement includes enjoying hoops at Coggin and helping others with yard work. He plans to attend Texas State University to study Art.
