We recognize details are essential to families, and changing plans are incredibly frustrating. We hope establishing the following dates well in advance will help with planning, and provide the best opportunity for favorable health conditions and fewer social distancing restrictions.

BHS Seniors & Graduation Updates

Our Senior FAQ document (https://www.brownwoodisd.org/SENIOR2020FAQ) will be updated with this new information soon. If not addressed here, FAQ information remains the same.

1. Senior Parade and High School Open House

• The parade honoring our seniors is scheduled downtown on July 31, 2020, at 4:30 pm.
• Immediately following the parade, seniors and their families are invited to Brownwood High School for an Open House event lasting until 7:00 pm.

2. Traditional Graduation Ceremony

• A conventional graduation ceremony is scheduled for July 31, 2020, at 8:15 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium. If there is inclement weather on July 31, this event will be held on August 1, 2020.

3. Virtual Graduation Video

• Individualized graduation walks begin filming next week. Seniors’ emails contain a link to sign up. Contact your counselor if you need assistance or have questions.
