East Elementary Second-Grade Class Takes on Creative Writing, Audience Etiquette, and Public Speaking During Lesson
Article by: Kathleen Cravey
The second-grade students in Mrs. Tori Moore's class were busy reading their narrative stories to the class on Friday, February 21.
The students wrote about a time they felt afraid. They have been working hard on their creative writing skills and were able to build up confidence by reading their stories aloud.
As the students waited for their turn to read, they were also taught how to be good audience members by paying attention, listening, and clapping when a student finishes a story.
