In keeping with Brownwood ISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all families and staff that we have 11 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 that were present at the following campuses on the following days: 

Brownwood High School – Friday 1/22 (3), Monday 1/25 (2) 

Woodland Heights Elementary – Monday 1/25 (1)

East Elementary – Friday 1/22 (1)

Brownwood Middle School – Friday 1/22 (2)

Coggin Intermediate – Friday 1/22 (1)

Northwest Elementary – Monday 1/25 (1)

Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the names of the individuals or details that may identify him or her. Working with the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department, all individuals who came in potential close contact with the individual have been notified. All areas heavily used have been disinfected.  

All BISD’s COVID-19 Response updates are sent to all staff members and every BISD family in our SchoolMessenger system. Every update is also made public and posted on our BISD website.
