March 15 Board Update
At the March 15 BISD Board of Trustees meeting, the Board unanimously chose to keep the current mask protocols in place until further notice. A significant factor was the close contact definition and the low number of quarantines we are currently experiencing.

Governor Abbott Issues Executive Order Relating to Masks and COVID Restrictions
Governor Abbott’s Executive Order No. GA-34 related to masks and COVID restrictions goes into effect next Wednesday, March 10. As of this email, 2:47 pm on Tuesday, TEA has not released any updated guidance. When they do, we will see what this means for our schools and will keep you informed.
