TEA Reports

BISD is required to provide parents and other members of the general public with certain annual reports containing data for the preceding school year. Information on each report is divided by state, district, and campus.

Texas School Report Card (SRC): This report is required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. The report provides information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®), as well as information on student enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures. These report cards can be found under the Texas School Report Cards heading. Click here to view the Brownwood ISD District Profile.

The Federal Report Card (FRC): Distribution of this report is required for every school district that receives Title I, Part A funding, as outlined in the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeed Act (ESSA). These report cards are found below under the Federal Report Cards heading.

The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR): These reports pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. The information is disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics. These reports can be found in the website navigation menu under TAPR Reports.
