As of March 6, all student course grades are considered frozen. All completed off-campus instructional materials will be assessed, which will allow teachers, parents, and students to monitor progress on the concepts covered. Careful consideration will be given on how completed coursework will impact course grades, GPA, and class rank.

Brownwood ISD Food Service will be serving Cheeseburgers as it’s first hot pick-up meal on Wednesday, April 8. There will be no meal service Friday, April 10, as it is the Good Friday holiday.
Lindsay Smith has been selected as the next Brownwood High School (BHS) Principal. Smith, previously an Assistant Principal at BHS, has been working as the Interim Principal since March 9.
We understand that for various reasons (no computer, no internet, preference, etc.), printed instructional materials are necessary. We are committed to providing the support our families need during these difficult times. To simplify this process and support higher compliance with ‘stay at home’ principles, we are making updates.
Twelve Brownwood High School seniors received an academic scholarship to attend Angelo State University, on their journey to pursuing further educational possibilities. One of these students, James Bautista, received the Carr Distinguished Academic Scholarship to attend ASU in the fall. Only five incoming students are given the award, an annual $15,000 scholarship, renewable for up to $60,000.
