Child Find is an ongoing process of locating students with disabilities for special education services.
The children of Brown County have different abilities. They do not all learn the same way, but they ALL can learn. Brownwood ISD Special Education Department helps identify students with disabilities for special education services in accordance with the Commission of Education and the Texas Education Agency.
Youth from age 0-21 who shows signs of developmental delay, ongoing learning problems, behavioral, or medical problems that interfere with learning are possible candidates for Special Education services.
