BMS held its annual end-of-year awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 25. Students were recognized for academic achievement in a variety of categories for the 2021-22 school year.
Seventh and eighth grade choir students at BMS have been working on their sight reading skills. Thanks to a Brownwood Education Foundation grant, “Sight Reading Factory” subscriptions were purchased and the students have been using them weekly.
“The Office of the Secretary of Defense / Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve recognizes Brownwood Middle School and Sandra Richardson as a Patriotic Employer for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force.”
In order to maintain a safe environment for our children to study and learn, it is necessary that the BISD practice emergency response procedures by utilizing drills designed to exercise the plans and protocols. Starting Monday April 25 through Thursday April 28, Brownwood ISD will be conducting campus evacuation drills for every campus within the district.
