On Tuesday, September 11th, we had our first PTO meeting for this school year. We had a Reading Party in our parking lot. Lots of fun prizes and books were given away and Mrs. Wilbourn read the story Hilda Must Be Dancing and Mrs. Smith read Amelia Bedelia as Mrs. Garrett played the part of Amelia Bedelia. Teachers were there to answer questions that parents may have about take-home readers and other academic skills required of students for each grade level. It was a fun evening with about 200 people in attendance. We ended the evening enjoying cookies and punch.

Our next PTO meeting will feature our PreK and K classes on Tuesday, April 8th, in the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. The students will be celebrating our great state of Texas. We hope you will attend.
